BEAUMONT, Texas - Lamar University's non-conference schedule won't get any easier as they will find themselves facing off with two top-nationally ranked schools in the Southeastern Conference for the next two games. First up will be a trip to Fayetteville, Ark., to meet up with the undefeated Razorbacks of Arkansas. The tip-off will start on Thursday night at 1:00 p.m.

Portias and Portias of the Problem Is
Portia Adams helped ignite a 76-63 victory over Loyola-New Orleans with a career-high 24 points. This included 17 points in the first half and 11 in the first quarter alone. In that first quarter, she sparked a seven-point rally by herself in the win. Averaging 13.4 ppg, she only trails teammate Sabria Dean, who leads with 16.1 ppg. The two are third and fourth respectively in the Southland Conference.

First Start for R=Money
R'Mani Taylor earned her first start in the win over LNO and she would finish with her first double-digit game scoring 13 points on 5-of-11 from the field and 3-of-4 from downtown. She opened the game with five straight points. The Houston native has scored in four of the five games she's played in. 

Royal Rebounders
Emma Imevbore (7.7 rpg), London native, and Malay McQueen (7.6 rpg) are averaging over 7.5 rebounds per game. This puts them 3rd and 4th in the SLC respectively.

History Against the Razorbacks
LU is 3-2 all-time against the Razorbacks. The last meeting between the two teams was 11 years ago. The last time LU came out with a win against Arkansas was on January 28, 1983.

Scouting the Razorbacks
The Razorbacks are off to a 10-0 start, which included a 92-58 thrubbing of Oral Roberts in their last game. Erynn Barnum leads the Razorbacks by averaging 15.8 points per game, which is seventh in the SEC. Samara Spencer averaged 25.5 ppg in the last two games, which included a career high 32 points against ORU. Averaging 15.3 ppg, she trails Barnum in team and conference scoring.
