BEAUMONT, Texas – After a season-opening victory over North American University in week one, the Lamar University Cardinals will step up in competition Saturday as they try and move to 2-0 to start the year. The Cardinals will look to take that next step against UTSA. The Roadrunners enter Saturday's contest with an identical 1-0 record.
Saturday will serve as the home opener for UTSA who is coming off a thrilling seven-point victory at Illinois in the first week of the season.
