BEAUMONT, Texas – In a joint partnership with Fairwinds Estate Winery, Lamar University has announced LU branded wines – Spindletop Napa Valley. The selection, which includes a red wine, a chardonnay and a brut sparkling méthode champenoise, brings to life the legacy of Lamar University and Southeast Texas.
 
When members subscribe to the 1923 Club they will receive two shipments per year (six bottles each) of the handcrafted Napa Valley wines. The shipments will arrive in a keepsake vintage fire-branded wooden crate.
 
The university will benefit from those who join the 1923 Club, as 20 percent of the proceeds will go to university programs. Members of the 1923 Club also receive exclusive access to limited release and library wines, as well as to gift wines and merchandise for family and friends. Members will also have access to free wine tasting experiences at Fairwinds in Napa Valley, special access to LU only events and parties and will receive 15 percent off Fairwinds Estate wines.
