NACOGDOCHES, Texas – The Lamar University fell to Stephen F. Austin on Saturday afternoon in five innings to close out the series.

Shelby Mixon was shined through two innings of work giving up just one run on two hits to SFA, including forcing the Ladyjacks in a three up three down scenario in the first inning.
The Ladyjacks returned the favor to Lamar, and in the bottom of the third SFA exploded on offense for four runs on two hits to take a 5-0 lead. The SFA bats continued to be hot in the next inning as they add four runs to extend their lead to 9-0 over the Cardinals.
