th with tipoff slated for 6:30 p.m. CT from Sharp Gym.

Jadyn Pimentel leads the Cardinals in scoring as she posts 8.7 points per game and leads Lamar in assists (32) and steals (22). Junior
Anyssia Gibbs leads the rebounding efforts for the Cards as she pulls down 5.2 boards a game and plays a second-best on the team 23.7 minutes a game while shooting 56 percent from the field during conference play.
The Huskies are coming into the matchup following a 82-56 win over Northwestern State. Timia Jefferson leads HBU with 13.6 points a game while shooting 38.3 percent from the field. Marilyn Nzoiwu leads the Husky defense with 6.8 rebounds a game while Jefferson averages 2.3 steals a game.
The Cardinals will be back at the Montagne Center on Saturday, January 30
th as they welcome McNeese in the first edition of the Battle of the Border in the 2020-21 season. Tipoff is slated for 2:01 p.m. CT.

LAST TIME WE PLAYED
- The Lamar University women's basketball program fell to Stephen F. Austin, 69-39, on Saturday afternoon at the William R. Johnson Coliseum in Nacogdoches.
- The Ladyjacks jumped out to a 5-0 lead to open the contest before redshirt junior Micaela Wilson used her power to get a layup to fall to bring the score back to within three. The Cardinals struggled early on as they shot just 18 percent in the first compared to SFA shooting 57 percent. Wilson lead the Cards in the first period with four points and one rebound.
- The Cardinals fell down in the third frame after shooting just 20 percent compared to 39 percent from the field for SFA. The Ladyjacks shot 88 percent from the free throw line that helped give them a 56-27 advantage at the end of the third.
- The Ladyjacks kept up their defensive pressure on the Cardinals has Lamar shot 26 percent overall for the contest compared to SFA shooting 42 percent. The Cardinals were outrebounded by the Ladyjacks, 50-28, and SFA led getting points in the paint backed by 16 offensive rebounds. Stephen F. Austin took to victory over Lamar, 69-39, on Saturday afternoon.
