BEAUMONT, Texas – The Lamar University men's golf team opens its spring schedule on Sunday when they participate in The All American hosted by the University of Houston. The 54-hole event will be held at the Golf Club of Houston.

click here. The All American is a 54-hole tournament that is slated to play 18 holes each day. The tournament will begin at 8 a.m. all three days with tee times.
The 14-team tournament field consists of several Southland Conference schools. The field includes tournament-host Houston, Rice, Baylor, Charlotte, Louisiana, McNeese, Mississippi, New Mexico State, North Texas, Sam Houston State, South Carolina, UT Arlington and UTSA.
Leading the Cards in scoring this season is
Cody Banach. Banach played in 11 rounds this fall and had a scoring average of 72.91. Banach had four rounds at par or below this fall season.
Eason Wang and
Sam Dumez shot the lowest round of the season with rounds of 68.
Hugo Hellman, Banach and Wang played in each of the 11 rounds Lamar played in during the fall schedule.
The Cardinals will be paired up with Louisiana and UT Arlington. Big Red is slated to start on the tee off from hole no. 1 from 8:45 a.m. to 9:21 a.m.
The Cardinals will be back in action March 11-12, when they travel to Laredo, Texas to compete in the Border Olympics. The tournament is scheduled for a round of 36 holes on Monday, March 11 and 18 holes the final round.
