Lamar and ULL will meet for the 64th time Monday with LU leading 43-20 in the all-time series. The Cardinals are 20-10 over the Ragin' Cajuns at home including a 79-77 win on Nov. 6 last season.

Louisiana-Lafayette is 4-1 on the year so far with victories over Loyola-New Orleans, McNeese, Southeastern Louisiana, and at New Orleans. The Ragin' Cajuns' only lose this season is at Sam Houston State, a 77-73 result.

The Last Time Out – at #2 Baylor – November 21

A strong defensive effort in the first half wasn't enough to carry Lamar University late against the second-best team in the country. The Cardinals held #2 Baylor University to well under its scoring average but couldn't quite keep pace offensively, and Baylor took a 90-28 decision over Big Red.

Angel Hastings scored 13 for Lamar with a 3-of-7 performance from beyond the arc, and Jadyn Pimentel had another six for LU, all in the third quarter.
