BEAUMONT, Texas – Although the Lamar University football team will just be wrapping up its first week of fall camp on the field, the Southland Conference released its list of televised games for the first four weeks of the season. LU head coach Mike Schultz's Cardinals will be televised in all of the team's first four games, which includes three games on the ESPN family of networks.

The Red and White will kick off the season Saturday, Sept. 1, at home against Kentucky Christian. The game against the Knights will kick off at 6 p.m. from Provost Umphrey Stadium and will be televised on ESPN3. The following week the Cardinals will travel to Lubbock, Texas to take on Texas Tech. The game against the Red Raiders will be a 3 p.m. kick and will be televised on Fox Sports Net.

After the first two games of the season, the Cardinals return home for games in weeks three and four. Big Red will host Northwestern State Saturday, Sept. 15, at 6 pm. on ESPN+ from Provost Umphrey Stadium. The Cards will be back in the friendly confines the following week for a 6 p.m. kick against Southeastern Louisiana (ESPN3).
