BEAUMONT, Texas – Lamar University football has several summer camps scheduled to begin in June and run through July. The camps range from youth camps to a specialist camp and include several high school camps located around the state of Texas.
The camps range in price from $40 for the high school camp up to $120 for the youth camp. The specialist camp costs $100.
LU football camps provide instruction that will cover basic football fundamentals for kids in the first through eighth grade. The youth camp will take place at Provost Umphrey Stadium on Monday, June 6 and Tuesday, June 7. It will begin at 8 a.m. and run through 4 p.m. The youth camp will divide participants based on age and ability.
The Cardinals will be holding a separate camp Saturday, July 16 for ninth through 12
th grade at Provost Umphrey Stadium, which will begin at 9 a.m. and last until 1 p.m. If campers are unable to attend to the date in Beaumont, LU will also be holding camps at Prestonwood Christian Academy (June 8
th), South Grand Prairie High School (June 9
th), Conroe High School (July 15
th) and Clear Falls High School (July 15
th).
Experienced trainers are available at all times. Each camper is covered by health and accident insurance during camp hours. Insurance coverage is secondary to primary insurance. You must fill out the indemnification and medical treatment forms to complete registration.
