EL PASO, Texas - Lamar freshman Angie Guillory's first career goal wasn't enough for the Lady Cardinals in a 6-1 loss to host UTEP in a non-conference women's soccer game Friday evening.
Guillory scored with one second remaining in the game to ruin UTEP's shutout bid. Grace Bowman was credited with the assist for Lamar (2-5-0), which saw its losing string extended to three games.
Tess Hall led UTEP (6-1-0) with three goals. Katie Dorman added two goals and an assist in the win.
Lamar returns to action at 1 p.m. Sunday with a non-conference game at New Mexico State.
