TULSA, Okla. - Host Tulsa got 18 kills and 11 digs from Tyler Henderson in leading the Golden Hurricane to a 3-0 victory over Lamar University Friday night in non-conference volleyball action from the Radisson Tulsa Airport Invitational.

The Lady Cardinals fell to 3-5 on the season and will finish the tournament on Saturday with a 1 p.m. match against former conference rival Arkansas State. The Red Wolves knocked off Lamar in a hard-fought 3-2 match earlier on Friday.

Lamar led the first set 14-12 before Tulsa rallied, scoring four straight points and taking a 16-12 lead. The Lady Cards couldn't get it back to even and fell 25-19. The next two sets went Tulsa's way by identical scores of 25-14.

Sophomore middle blockers Jayme Bazile and Tina Hobbs led the Lamar effort, combining for 15 kills and nine block assists. Earlier in the day, Bazile tallied a career-high 21 kills against ASU.

Henderson had nearly half of Tulsa's (6-2) 37 kills.
