Feb. 13, 2010

BEAUMONT, Texas - Jenna Plumley notched her fourth double-double of the season, finishing with 17 points and 13 assists to lead the Lamar University women's basketball team to an 85-71 victory over visiting Texas State in a Southland Conference game at the Montagne Center on Saturday.

Plumley's assist total was one of her career high and two off the Lamar school record. Darika Hill added 23 points, while Ang Green chipped in with 15 points off the bench for the Lady Cardinals (19-5 overall, 9-1 conference).

"Jenna just had a fantastic game today," Lamar coach Larry Tidwell said. "She just sees the court so well."

Lamar, which improved to 10-0 in the Montagne Center this season, held a 43-28 lead at halftime and led by as many as 24 points late in the second half.
