TULSA, Okla. - The Lamar Lady Cardinal volleyball team dropped its second match of the day at the Hurricane Invitational at the Reynolds Center on the campus of Tulsa University, falling 3-0 to the Fordham Rams. The loss capped off the opening weekend in which Lamar went 0-4.
The Rams took games one and two 30-23, 30-19 and closed out the match with a 30-19 win in the third game.
The Lady Cards were led by Molli Abel and Meagan Adams who had 10 kills apiece while Ashley Todd had 22 assists and Erica Brown had 16 digs.
In their first match of the day, the Lady Cardinals lost to Texas-Pan American 3-2. Abel led Lamar with 20 kills and a .320 hitting percentage, while Todd passed out 43 assists and Brown collected 21 digs.
