"It was a hard fought match tonight," head coach Justin Gibert said. "We really had to battle out there to get the win. This was a match we really needed to get, and the girls did exactly what they needed to do."

Senior Nikki Perry led the way for the Lady Cardinals with 13 kills and a .375 hitting percentage, while Buchi Okoh chipped in with 10 kills and a .316 hitting percentage.

"Nikki is really stepping up right now," Gibert said. "I think she is sensing her career winding down, and she is playing the best volleyball I have ever seen her play."
