LU Softball Complex

The Lamar Softball Complex, which opened in 2015, is the newest as well as one of the best venues in the Southland Conference.

The fully lighted playing field features a programmable irrigation and fertilization system. Amenities for the players include spacious dugouts and locker rooms as well bullpens for both teams and a covered hitting facility.

The complex houses offices for coaches, a state-of-the-art training room and locker rooms for umpires.

Spectators can enjoy the games while sitting in chair-back seating while being protected from the elements by a roof that covers the grandstand behind home plate. Fans can also purchase a wide variety of foods and beverages from the concession stand as well as a wide variety of Lamar University softball merchandise from the complex’s souvenir stand.
